Week 4

Wow, I’m really starting to see how doing the tasks in this mastermind is forming good habits and simultaneously building self-confidence! Today I woke up feeling doubtful, thinking “Can I really do this?” “I failed in the past.” “Am I good enough?”

Now I realize intellectually that thinking these thoughts will only bring me the corresponding result, but I couldn’t help feeling this way. I know It’s just my “old blueprint” talking.

So I started doing my Blueprint building exercises… I read scroll 1 in The Greatest Salesman, Chapter 4 of The Master Key System and my Definite Major Purpose and those negative thoughts and feelings simply dissolved!

Guess what? Positive action destroys fear, worry and doubt!

Week 3

So this week I am still on vacation so keeping to a routine is a challenge. The internet here keeps going out so I had to catch the webinar replays. In life we are met with challenges everyday, it’s all about how you respond.

Most people simply react to challenges the way they were programmed by their past influences. These include Our parents, teachers, society, etc. We don’t necessarily make a conscious decision as how to respond, we are reacting with a conditioned response based on past programming.

What the Master Key Mastermind Alliance course does is puts you back in the drivers seat, back in control of your life.

Week 2 – Think, Be, Do, Have

Alright, in week 2 we’ve added another exercise to help influence our subconscious mind using two 3 x 5 recipe cards and colored pencils. I won’t go into the details here, but it’s really cool and different than anything I’ve done in the realm of personal development or mindset. I’ll give you a clue though… the colored pencils have to do with going back to our childhood when we believed anything was possible, back before we were conditioned by our environment.

What we are doing is starting a progression, starting with things we can control and gradually increasing the effort. This builds unshakable belief and self-confidence.

When you COMMIT to something like a “Morning Ritual” and you do it, you build build belief In yourself which also transfers to others, because…

Og Madino’s Greatest Salesman In The World.

As I continue to read the first scroll 3 times a day, I am forming the first of my new habits.

How is this done? In the words of Og Mandino…

Through these scrolls, it will be done, for each scroll contains a principle which will drive a bad habit from my life and replace it with one which will bring me closer to success. For it is another of nature’s laws that only a habit can subdue another habit. So, in order for these written words to perform their chosen task, I must discipline myself with the first of my new habits, which is as follows:

I will read each scroll for thirty days in this prescribed manner, before I proceed to the next scroll. First, I will read the words in silence when I arise. Then, I will read the words in silence after I have partaken of my midday meal. Last, I will read the words again just before I retire at day’s end, and most important, on this occasion I will read the words aloud. On the next day I will repeat this procedure, and I will continue in like manner for thirty days. Then, I will turn to the next scroll and repeat this procedure for another thirty days. I will continue in this manner until I have lived with each scroll for thirty days and my reading has become habit.

 

And what will be accomplished with this habit? Herein lies the hidden secret of all man’s accomplishments….

I’m finding reading this three times a day, everyday, to be a challenge. Especially since I am currently traveling with my family. I’ll keep to it though, each read is only about 10 minutes. I think it’s more about doing what I say I will, thus forming belief in myself.

Master Key System

“The world without is a reflection of the world within.”

As I read the Master Key System and do the exercises at the end of each chapter, I am realizing that we are responsible for the circumstances in our life, but we go about changing them in the wrong manner. Most everyone focuses on “doing” things differently by taking different “actions”. This is backwards. We must first change our way of thinking.

The circumstances and events we experience in our life are the result of our predominant mental attitude which is the result of our thoughts. We must “be” before we can “do,” and we can “do” only to the extent which we “are,” and what we “are” depends upon what we “think.” (MKS 1, 4)

As we change our thoughts we begin to do things different and take different actions, thus becoming a new person and getting new results. The new results form new feelings around these new actions, thus forming new beliefs.

Week 1 – Today I Begin A New Life

I have decided to take control of the circumstances of my life and to do that realize that I must discipline myself with new and good habits and master my mindset. I have joined the Masterkey Mastermind Alliance to help me with this goal.

The Masterkey Mastermind Alliance is a 26 week commitment where I will be taking part of a mindset mastery coaching program along with 700 or so other success seekers. My first week of the Masterkey Mastermind has been a bit of an adjustment.

I started a morning ritual consisting of affirmations, meditation, reading a chapter from “The Greatest Salesman In The World” 3x daily and physical exercise a couple of months prior to joining the MKMMA and that has helped quite a lot.

In addition to what I was doing I am now reading a chapter of “The Master Key System” plus the exercise at the end of the chapter, reading aloud of my definite major purpose 3x daily, reading aloud of the blueprint builder daily, and a blog post weekly. I am very kinesthetic so I am also writing one of my affirmations 30x everyday (the same one for 30 days then a new one for the following 30 days).

I can definitely see how sticking to a routine like this is going to build my self confidence because if I can stick to it, I know that I will hold up my commitments to myself and others. Reading my definite major purpose also keeps the person I am becoming and my most important goals at the for front of my mind so my focus is always on what I want in my life.

I can not wait to learn more about mastering my mindset and see where this all leads!

Master Key System – Cause & Effect

In the first lesson of the Master Key System we learn about Cause and Effect. For example when you flip the switch (cause) the lights turn on (effect).

“The world within is the cause, the world without the effect; to change the effect you must change the cause.” -Charles Haanel

The true cause of our experiences in life come from the “world within” and the effects show up in the “world without.” The world within is what we think about, it’s our brain, the world without is everything outside of our brain. So when we think, we are using the world within, which is the cause and when we physically do or observe something, that is the effect or the world without.
